Waking Up is a meditation and philosophy app founded by Sam Harris. Since 2018, we've helped millions of people understand their own minds, combining guided practice with lessons from neuroscience, philosophy, and psychology. The approach is secular: no beliefs required, only a willingness to examine your own experience. We also give a free membership to anyone who can't afford one, no questions asked.

We're a small team running a subscription business at scale. That means real ownership, visible work, and a high bar.

The role
You'll own partner success and the operational side of our partnerships program. Our partners include platforms, other podcasts and apps, sponsors, and creator affiliates. Most of those relationships will be yours to manage day to day, and a small number of strategic ones stay with leadership.

The job is mainly coordination and relationship health. We want the person partners are glad to hear from, who never lets a detail slip, and who can own the work without being closely managed.

What you'll do

• Keep every partner relationship on track, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and assets with our marketing and content teams.
• Notice early when a partner goes quiet or a deliverable slips, and get it back on track.
• Run onboarding and kickoff for new partnerships, including the ones leadership brings in.
• Find and pitch new creator affiliates within our standard terms, and bring larger or more complex opportunities to the team. You may take on bigger pitches as you grow in the role.
• Manage affiliates in Impact (onboarding, tracking links, commissions, accurate records) and make sure they have the assets and answers they need.
• Keep a clear record of every partnership and document processes as you go, so the program scales without chaos.
• Work with our data team to report on partner and affiliate performance, and tell us plainly what's working and what isn't.

What we're looking for

• Ideally 2–3+ years in partnerships, affiliate management, or creator management
• Strong organization: you keep many threads moving and rarely drop one
• Clear, warm communication, especially in writing
• Comfort with outreach and pitching, including hearing "no" and following up gracefully
• Familiarity with Impact or a similar affiliate platform, and comfort with performance data
• Good judgment about when to handle something yourself and when to ask for help

Experience in meditation, wellness, or podcasts is a bonus, not a requirement.

How we think about AI
We want partnership operations to run on automation wherever it makes sense. You don't need to write code, but when you face a task you'll do two hundred times, your first thought should be how to make it run itself. You'll have engineering support and real say in what gets automated. We want someone who finds that exciting and who is also the person in the room asking how it fails.
