Are you interested in a role with promising growth potential where you have the opportunity to play a key strategic role on a team of hotel professionals? We’re hiring a highly organized, people-oriented human resources manager for the soon-to-open Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites Concord. You will be the onsite strategic human resources business partner assisting the hotel management team with human resources, performance management, safety and security, Company benefits, and compliance.

You will oversee all employee-related matters and ensure we are adhering to all state and local laws. Job seekers should be flexible, detail-oriented, and exhibit a high level of professionalism. The ideal applicant will have experience in human resources in the hospitality industry. Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) experience preferred. Must be bilingual.

Compensation: $70,304 to $75,000 annually plus benefits after 90 days.

Compensation

$70,304 - $75,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Process and maintain internal documents, paperwork, records, and reports
Recruit, interview, onboard, and train qualified candidates who would be assets to our organization
Optimize and enforce personnel policies and procedures
Meet with departing employees for exit interviews and receive feedback on our current systems for improvement
Manage human resources programs including employee benefits, training, and company evaluation and compensation
Coordinate enrollment for employee benefits
Monthly union reporting
Personnel file management
Qualifications:
Must have previous union experience
Must have at least three years of human resources management experience
Experience with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding
Employee relations and conflict resolution
Professional demeanor
Savvy computer skills
Outstanding communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Superior time management skills
Preference for applicants with hotel experience
Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently
