Job Description

North West | Hybrid - 1-2 days per week onsite

We are looking for an experienced Release, Environment & Test Analyst to join a large, complex technology environment in the North West.

This is a broad delivery-focused role bringing together Release Management, Environment Management and Test Management, working closely with technical teams operating modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.

You will take ownership across the release, environment and testing lifecycle, ensuring environments are ready, testing is effectively planned and coordinated, and releases are controlled and successfully delivered into production.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and coordinate end-to-end release management activities

  • Manage release schedules, readiness, dependencies, risks and implementation plans

  • Coordinate development, test, pre-production and production environments

  • Manage environment availability, scheduling, conflicts and readiness

  • Plan and coordinate testing across SIT, integration, regression and UAT

  • Manage test progress, defects, risks and release readiness

  • Work closely with DevOps, engineering and platform teams

  • Support and improve CI/CD-driven build, test and deployment processes

  • Lead release readiness and Go/No-Go activities

  • Provide clear governance and reporting across Release, Environment and Test

  • Work across multiple technical teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders

  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, processes and ways of working

We're looking for:

  • Strong Release Management experience within complex technology environments

  • Good Environment Management experience across multiple environments

  • Demonstrable Test Management experience

  • Good knowledge of DevOps principles and modern software delivery

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

  • Experience coordinating complex releases across multiple teams and dependencies

  • Strong governance, risk and change management experience

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Someone comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously

This would suit someone who has operated across Release, Environment and Test Management, rather than being focused solely on one discipline.

The role will be based in the North West, with an expectation of being onsite 1-2 days per week.
