Clinical Research Scientist

Talentmark are recruiting for a Clinical Research Scientist to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is hybrid based, up to 3 days per week in Burgess Hill.

Salary:<br />Up to £250 per day PAYE or up to £331 per day Umbrella.

Clinical Research Scientist Role:<br />Work on the clinical development strategy for large studies and programs in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.<br />Work with Global Regulatory Affairs on regulatory filings and review clinical documents for international submissions.<br />Act as the medical lead with health authorities and build relationships with international Key Opinion Leaders.<br />Oversee communication strategies for clinical studies and represent the organisation at medical congresses and advisory boards.<br />Drive competitive differentiation and innovation, and help shape intellectual property strategies.<br />Coach and mentor team members to help them build their skills and confidence.Your Background:<br />You hold an advanced degree, with experience in cardiology, metabolic diseases, obesity or a related field.<br />You have experience in academia, diagnostics, or the pharmaceutical industry in the cardiovascular and metabolic diseases area.<br />You have a proven track record managing In Vitro Diagnostics or Medical Device studies across all stages of global clinical trials.<br />You have led large, complex development programs and guided cross-functional, matrixed teams.<br />You have a strong understanding of global standards and regulations such as ICH-GCP, IVDD/IVDR, MDR, FDA, and NMPA.<br />You are willing to travel up to 25% depending on project phases.Company:<br />Our client is one of the world's premier innovative biopharmaceutical companies, discovering, developing and providing over 160 different medicines, vaccines and consumer healthcare products to help improve the lives of millions of people in the UK and around the world every year.
