IT Software Engineer - Java / AWS / Spring Boot / Microservices

We are seeking a senior IT Software Engineer / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and delivery ownership for a team building and operating scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, CI/CD, Docker, distributed systems, and cloud architecture, along with demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and driving technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead software engineers in delivering business-critical applications.

Establish technical direction, architecture decisions, and engineering standards.

Design and develop scalable Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.

Drive AWS cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.

Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability requirements.

Promote DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development practices.

Support incident resolution, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders.

Mentor engineers and help develop technical talent.

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Drive successful delivery of complex cloud-native solutions across cross-functional teams.

Required Technical Skills

10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a technical lead/leadership capacity.

Strong hands-on experience with Java, preferably the latest versions.
