GAC Applications Engineer IV

Provides technical support for activated carbon technology sales and customer applications across a West Coast region. Develops market strategies, evaluates bid specifications, models treatment performance, supports pilot trials, interprets data, troubleshoots systems, and presents technical recommendations to customers and industry groups. Remote position with travel to customer and plant sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop market strategies to expand existing business and generate new opportunities for activated carbon technology.
• Support Sales teams and coordinate technical needs with Product Management, Project Management, Equipment Engineering, and R&D.
• Review bid specifications and recommend changes to improve technical quality and reduce project risk.
• Use computer design programs to model activated carbon performance in liquid and vapor applications.
• Set up and monitor field pilot trials, interpret laboratory and field data, and provide design and operating recommendations.
• Troubleshoot customer system issues and prepare and present technical reports, training, and conference materials.
