Job Description

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician - Onsite (Night Shift) for a position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will work under limited supervision to maintain machine uptime, clear stoppages on automated equipment, and perform routine manufacturing process operations in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Maintain machine uptime, perform fault clearing, and clear stoppages on automated equipment
  • Carry out basic, routine manufacturing process operations such as dispensing of raw materials and material reconciliation
  • Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages
  • Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation
  • Perform equipment inspections and generate work orders as needed in the Maximo system
  • Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or operating inefficiencies
  • Use computer systems to support material inventory (SAP transactions) and electronic batch records
  • Safely follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) including material handling and record keeping
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Requirements:
  • High school/GED and 1 year of work or military experience OR an Associate's degree
  • Experience with equipment operation and troubleshooting, including safely operating production machinery and identifying faults
  • Proficiency in quality control and precision measurement, including reading work instructions/blueprints and using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems and safety protocols, including SOPs, OSHA/EHS practices, 5S, lean manufacturing, and basic documentation in ERP/MES

Pay range: up to $26.79 per hour
