Duration: 6 month CONTRACT TO HIRE

Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Business Analyst / SME to support a major digital manufacturing transformation initiative. This individual will serve as the primary SAP Digital Manufacturing resource, working closely with manufacturing stakeholders,

project teams, and implementation partners to design, configure, and deploy SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP Digital Manufacturing expertise with hands-on manufacturing process knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities



  • Serve as the primary SAP Digital Manufacturing subject matter expert

  • Gather and translate manufacturing business requirements into SAP solutions

  • Configure and support SAP Digital Manufacturing functionality

  • Participate in solution design and architecture discussions

  • Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions

  • Demonstrate solutions, proof-of-concepts, and recommendations to business users

  • Validate solutions against business and operational requirements

  • Support testing, deployment, training, and adoption efforts

  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations, quality, planning, warehouse, and IT teams

  • Reduce dependence on external implementation partners by providing internal expertise


Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years of SAP Digital Manufacturing experience

  • Hands-on SAP Digital Manufacturing configuration experience

  • Experience implementing and supporting SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions

  • Strong manufacturing operations knowledge

  • Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and lead solution discussions

  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Production Operator Dashboard (POD) configuration

  • Production Process Designer (PPD)

  • Shop Floor Execution

  • Work Instructions

  • Electronic Batch Records (EBR)

  • Material Traceability

  • Data Collection Groups and Parameters

  • Electronic Signatures

  • User Roles and Security

  • Scrap and Rework Processing

  • Batch Genealogy

  • Production Execution Processes


Manufacturing Knowledge


Understanding of:


  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

  • Production Order Execution

  • Batch Management

  • Material Consumption and Goods Receipt

  • Quality Inspections

  • Non-Conformance Management

  • Shop Floor Operations

  • Regulated Manufacturing Environments


Preferred Qualifications



  • SAP Quality Management (QM)

  • SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

  • SAP PP/PPDS

  • SAP BTP and Integration Suite

  • SAP Cloud Connector

  • Barcode, scanning, and label printing integrations

  • Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industry experience

  • Engineering or manufacturing-related educational background
