  • Salary: Up to £51,600

  • Hours: 8.00-16.30 hours per week, no weekends

  • Location: Tidworth

Your Role:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a Maintenance team, by leading and supervise maintenance resources in a flexible and agile manner, making swift decisions and adapting to changing situations.

  • Communicate with stakeholders to inform them about the planned works in progress whilst ensuring that service level agreements are met and sustained.

  • Positively shaping the development of behavioural safety and risk management, ensuring that ADSL’s QHSE policies and procedures are implemented across the area of responsibility.

  • Work with the Garrison HSE teams to ensure that maintenance is performed in accordance with the CDM Regulations, ADSL’s Safe System of Work, Asbestos Management, and QHSE requirements.

  • Cultivating a high-performing team by identifying training needs and monitoring the workforce’s performance to ensure engagement, upholding standards, and potential.

  • Communicate with stakeholders to inform them about the planned works in progress whilst ensuring that service level agreements are met and sustained.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Industry recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing Engineering. To be Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Project) and IOSH Managing Safely. Experience of working in a MoD and/or military environment and PFI would be an advantage.

  • Experience: Proven leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team to set and drive standards to achieve goals. Experience in maintenance management within the facilities management sector and Safe Systems of Work.

  • Skills: Be proactive, versatile, and skilled at prioritising tasks and managing time, with a solid understanding of commercial acumen. Strong communication, customer service and leadership skills. A team player with the ability to work well with others and maintain positive relationships within the team, across the business, and externally. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills enabling effective management of work programmes and maintenance records and data.

  • Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
