Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Principal .NET Architect with strong expertise in C#, .NET, React, and the retail domain. The ideal candidate will lead platform architecture, modernization initiatives, and the development of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise retail catalog platforms
  • Design scalable APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures
  • Lead legacy modernization, cloud migration, and platform transformation initiatives
  • Provide hands-on development using C#/.NET and React
  • Drive architecture reviews, engineering standards, code quality, and technical decision-making
  • Mentor senior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional, globally distributed teams
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, including Principal Engineer or Architect-level responsibilities
  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and React
  • Mandatory experience in the retail or e-commerce domain, preferably retail catalog platforms
  • Experience with microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, databases, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Strong leadership, architecture design, platform modernization, and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools
