Senior Project Manager - Retail Technology

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead to lead a major enterprise retail technology program in Melbourne.
You'll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a next-generation Point of Sale and unified commerce platform, acting as the key link between the customer, technology delivery teams and third-party partners.
The program will progress from discovery and solution definition through build, pilot and implementation, giving you ownership across the full delivery lifecycle.
What you'll be doing

• Own delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality and resourcing
• Establish and manage project governance, SteerCos, reporting, RAID and change control
• Coordinate structured discovery, requirements and solution design workshops
• Manage senior customer stakeholders and executive-level communications
• Build and maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones and dependencies
• Coordinate internal technical teams, third-party vendors and implementation partners
• Manage project financials, SOW deliverables and commercial change requests
• Lead delivery through solution definition, build, configuration, UAT and pilot deployment
• Manage risks, issues and escalation pathways
• Coordinate transition into ongoing support following implementation

What we're looking for

• 8+ years' experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology programs
• Strong end-to-end project or program delivery experience
• Experience delivering customer-facing professional services or complex technology implementations
• Strong governance, RAID, executive reporting and stakeholder management capability
• Commercial experience managing budgets, SOWs and change requests
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors and multidisciplinary technology teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent experience/certification

Experience delivering POS, store systems, unified commerce or broader retail technology programs would be highly regarded.
You'll be joining a highly visible program requiring someone who can bring structure to complexity, confidently manage senior stakeholders and maintain strong commercial and delivery discipline throughout.
