This company, based in Devon, has developed a brand-new medical device that is about to go into mass production and will be supplied across the globe. Having developed cutting-edge technology and received extensive backing, this is an exciting time to join the business as it enters the next stage of its growth.

The role will primarily focus on electrical design, taking engineering concepts and developing them into fully engineered, compliant and operational systems. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in practical project work, testing and commissioning, while developing your PLC and controls knowledge through company-funded Siemens training.

THE ROLE:

• Develop electrical designs, schematics and technical documentation.
• Select and specify electrical/control components.
• Support the practical build, testing and development of projects.
• Gain exposure to PLCs and control systems, with Siemens training provided.
• Work closely with the engineering team on new product development.

THE PERSON:

• Electrical or Electronic Engineering background.
• Good attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
• Interested in electrical design with some practical/hands-on engineering experience.
• Any exposure to electrical drawings, PLCs or controls is beneficial but not essential.
• Candidates with the right attitude and aptitude from a range of electrical/electronic backgrounds will be considered
