🚨 Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid

I’m looking to speak with experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers interested in joining a growing Building Services & Low Carbon Engineering Consultancy.

This position offers the opportunity to take genuine ownership of projects while working across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, pharmaceutical, public sector and low-carbon/net-zero schemes .

Key responsibilities include:

⚙️ Leading mechanical design on selected projects

Producing calculations, specifications and drawings

🤝 Acting as a client-facing engineer throughout project delivery

Working across projects from inception through to completion

Providing technical guidance to junior engineers

Designing sustainable and low-carbon building services solutions

Attending project meetings and delivering client presentations

Ideally you'll have:

✅ 5+ years' Building Services mechanical design experience

✅ Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification

✅ Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems

✅ Experience across multiple project/design stages

✅ Revit and relevant building services software experience

✅ Knowledge of Building Regulations and UK/European standards

✅ CIBSE membership / Chartership progression advantageous

✅ BREEAM, HTM and renewable technology knowledge beneficial
