They are seeking a dedicated and motivated Nurse to join their team and uphold high standards of patient safety and care. The Role • Lead in the surveillance, prevention, and control of infections within the hospital setting. • Promote and maintain high standards of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. • Provide evidence-based IPC clinical advice and support. • Act as a professional role model, demonstrating a commitment to improving IPC practices and delivering staff education. • Work flexibly to support ward, theatre, outpatient, or pre-operative assessment areas as needed, in addition to IPC responsibilities. What You'll Need • Registered Nurse with a degree or equivalent experience. • Current NMC registration. • Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent experience. • Evidence of recent updates in infection prevention and control practice. • Recent experience as a registered nurse in an acute surgical care environment. • Previous experience and knowledge of infection prevention and control at a ward/departmental level. • Infection Prevention and Control Course qualification (Desirable).
