The Role

• Operate heavy machinery such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely.
• Drive specialized equipment to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience in intermodal or rail yard operations is preferred.
