REED Technology are recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Technician to join a large and well-established organisation on a long-term contract based in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working across complex IT environments, solving technical issues and supporting business-critical systems.

You will act as a senior technical escalation point, providing 3rd line support, maintaining core infrastructure services and delivering technical project work. The position offers a varied workload covering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, hardware support and wider infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Providing advanced 3rd line infrastructure support
• Supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments
• Maintaining network and infrastructure services
• Investigating and resolving complex technical incidents
• Supporting upgrades, maintenance and project activity
• Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with infrastructure improvements and technical initiatives

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience within a 3rd Line Support, Infrastructure Engineer or Senior Infrastructure role
• Strong Windows Server administration experience
• Advanced Active Directory skills
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN and wireless networks
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Microsoft 365 administration
• SCCM administration
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Experience within healthcare, public sector or other large-scale environments
