Location Mississauga, ON, CANADA

This role blends Pega application development and quality responsibilities into broader quality assurance and automation roles. A typical Pega QA / Automation testing profile centers on functional validation, test automation frameworks, and deep workflow understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Execution: Design and execute detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases for Pega case management, workflows, approvals, and user interface screens.
• Automation Development: Implement test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or BDD/Cucumber frameworks.
• Integration & API Testing: Validate inbound/outbound integrations, data mappings, and RESTful APIs tied to backend banking systems.
• Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, log, and track software bugs using Jira or ALM, collaborating closely with Pega developers for quick resolution.
• Quality Gate Enforcement: Act as a quality gatekeeper to ensure deliverables match strict banking workflows and regulatory requirements before production deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 10+ years of overall QA or automation experience depending on seniority level (Analyst up to VP).
• Technical Stack: Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) and scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of CRM platforms, financial services workflows, or core banking infrastructure.
• Database Skills: Good command of SQL and Oracle queries for backend data validation and test data conditioning.
