Java Technical Lead - Google Cloud Platform & DevOps

We are seeking a Technical Lead Development to provide technical leadership and hands-on development expertise for clinical system applications. This role will drive engineering standards, architecture, application delivery, and technical strategy across multiple development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define engineering standards, architecture, and technical best practices.
• Remain hands-on with coding, design, development, and application support.
• Mentor engineering leads and provide technical oversight across multiple teams.
• Lead complex integrations with internal teams and third-party systems.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, QA, Project Management, and Engineering teams.
• Support Agile/SAFe delivery, planning, releases, testing, and defect resolution.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable applications are delivered on schedule.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform experience, including GKE, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Firestore, Datastore, and Memorystore.
• Experience with Google ADK and/or AI agent development is highly desirable.
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience, including build/release automation and production support.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm.
• Strong understanding of microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, object-oriented design, and software design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead multiple development teams while remaining technically hands-on.

Preferred:

• Angular experience.
• AI experience using Gemini or Vertex AI.
• Experience building AI-driven automation.
• Healthcare or clinical systems experience.
• Experience bringing multiple products to market.
