Job description

Presence is seeking a Web Developer to build high-impact digital experiences for small and local businesses. You'll collaborate with designers, marketers, and strategists to create responsive websites and web apps using modern front-end and back-end technologies. Responsibilities include implementing SEO and analytics, integrating CMS and APIs, optimizing performance and accessibility, and maintaining clean, well-documented code. You'll work in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment focused on measurable growth, continuous learning, and delivering results-driven digital solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications for small and local business clients
  • Collaborate with designers, strategists, and marketers to turn wireframes and requirements into performant digital experiences
  • Implement SEO best practices, analytics tags, and optimized front-end performance for measurable growth
  • Integrate APIs, CMS platforms, and third-party tools to support marketing and content workflows
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following modern web standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional project meetings
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing client sites for performance, accessibility, and UXContribute to continuous improvement of internal tools, workflows, and development processes
