Job Description

Human Resources Generalist - Manufacturing | Champaign, IL, United States | On-site | $55,000 - $70,000 We're hiring for a global leader in the rigid plastic packaging industry, renowned for its innovation and commitment to sustainability. Join a dynamic team that shapes positive workplace experiences for associates across their entire employment lifecycle. The Role • Partner with Manufacturing Site Leadership to develop and execute the site's employee engagement strategy and roadmap. • Lead the planning and implementation of employee recognition programs, rewards, and engagement activities. • Oversee and monitor the onboarding and assimilation process for new associates to ensure their success. • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on fostering healthy communication and relationships. • Collect, analyze, and report on data to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. • Serve as a visible and approachable resource for associates, understanding their needs and providing support. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. • Willingness to be on-site and actively engage with associates on the manufacturing floor. • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, glean insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations. • Proficiency in HR systems (Workday experience is a plus) and advanced Excel skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high-energy, approachable demeanor.
