Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop and maintain user interfaces and application functionality using modern web development technologies, ensuring responsive behavior and effective integration with backend services.
2. Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based application components, enterprise services, APIs, and business logic in accordance with established development standards.
3. Develop RESTful services, batch-processing solutions, data-processing workflows, and application integrations while implementing appropriate validation, error handling, reliability, and restartability.
    

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	5+ Years of Experience in Java application development, user interface development, REST APIs, enterprise software, batch processing, and full software development lifecycle activities.
Technical Skills	Java Development, User Interface Development, Spring Boot, REST API Development, Angular, Spring Batch, Hibernate/ORM, SQL & Database Development
Business / Domain Skills	Enterprise Application Development, Software Architecture, Application Integration, Workflow Management, Business Process Automation, Software Development Lifecycle
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience developing enterprise applications using modern Java frameworks, web UI technologies, RESTful services, and database integration.
2. Experience with batch processing, workflow lifecycle implementations, auditability, data validation, and reliable processing of business transactions.
