Temporary Senior Associate - Reporting Dashboard Engineer (Power BI / Tableau)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Temporary Senior Associate with 6+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, and dashboard development to support Financial Services and Global Banking engagements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI and/or Tableau, advanced SQL skills, dimensional data modeling experience, and a solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes. This individual will help design, develop, and enhance reporting solutions that support business intelligence, regulatory requirements, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Build and optimize data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets to support business and regulatory reporting needs.
• Perform complex SQL development, data analysis, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
• Support ETL/ELT processes and data integration activities across multiple source systems.
• Develop and implement data quality controls and reporting governance standards.
• Create KPIs, metrics, scorecards, and executive-level dashboards.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies.
• Support testing, implementation, and production deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in BI reporting, analytics, dashboard development, or data engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience with dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Risk Management experience.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk reporting, or data governance initiatives.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of data quality controls and reporting governance best practices.
