VerSprite is seeking a Director of AI SecOps to lead the application of artificial intelligence across our client-facing cybersecurity services.

This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role focused on leveraging AI technologies and software development expertise to solve complex automation challenges, enhance cybersecurity operations, and deliver scalable solutions for our clients.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering knowledge with AI expertise, proven technical leadership skills, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders at client organizations.

This is not a traditional software development leadership position. The focus is on applying AI and technical expertise to improve cybersecurity service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AI-driven automation initiatives for client-facing cybersecurity services.

  • Identify opportunities to apply AI models and software engineering techniques to solve client challenges.

  • Guide the development and implementation of AI-powered security solutions.

  • Lead and mentor software engineers and technical cybersecurity professionals.

  • Provide technical guidance on system architecture, integration, and automation.

  • Work directly with senior client stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate solutions.

  • Collaborate with VerSprite leadership on technical priorities and service innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong prior software development experience.

  • Experience applying AI technologies to complex technical challenges.

  • Solid understanding of software architecture, automation, and system integration.

  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams.

  • Strong client-facing experience, including communication with senior executives.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Professional fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity operations or security engineering.

  • Experience with threat modeling.

  • Experience with AI-driven security automation.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, and modern development environments.

Location Requirements

Remote - International candidates only.

Preferred locations: Argentina, Poland, Italy, Romania, Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal. Other international locations may be considered based on experience.
