Position: Business Analyst with State or Federal Exp

Location: Austin, Texas - Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months

 

Job Description:

  • A business and data analyst that has those skills plus 4 years’ Experience with projects addressing some of the following fields: data management, data quality, data warehousing, data modeling, data migration and integration secure file transfers enterprise system analysis enterprise architecture information security principles
  • 4 years’ Experience with investments management systems implementations and enhancements: Eagle Investment Accounting. Bloomberg financial data and transfer.

 

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in Management Information Systems or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience planning, eliciting, analyzing, and managing business requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including regression testing. Validate requirements with Front Office, Middle Office, and Regulatory stakeholders.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading simple and complex business process reengineering and transformation efforts that improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience serving as a Business Relationship Manager (liaison) between functional and technical teams.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading project teams and/or operational and strategic initiatives involving change management, stakeholder management, performance tracking, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and task delegation.
  • Minimum 4 years of considerable knowledge of public and private markets, investment concepts, and investment transactions related to credit & hedge funds, private equity, infrastructure, private real estate, public real estate, and public equity.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with Operations teams, Trading desks, Investment teams, software vendors, and internal development teams to continuously improve technology requirements.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience analyzing and evaluating complex investment information, technology applications, policies, and issues while developing creative solutions.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience developing curriculum and conducting training sessions for new and enhanced systems.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or within an Agile Scrum environment.

Minimum 4 years of experience with projects involving:

    • Data management
    • Data quality
    • Data warehousing
    • Data modeling
    • Data migration & integration
    • Secure file transfers
    • Enterprise system analysis
    • Enterprise architecture
    • Information security principles

 

Minimum 4 years of experience implementing or enhancing investment management systems, including:

    • Eagle Investment Accounting
    • Bloomberg financial data and transfer

 

  • Preferred 4 years of experience in a wide range of business environments, including business consulting.
  • Preferred 4 years of experience supporting system implementations and enhancements related to building operations, finance, benefits processing, procurement, contracts, legal, audit, human resources, vendor relations, project management, and communications.
  • Preferred 4 years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps for requirements management and project implementation.
  • Preferred 4 years of experience using project management software.
  • Preferred 4 years of technical expertise in business systems analysis, system configuration, information security, and internal control frameworks.
  • Preferred 4 years of technical expertise with reporting databases, database design, development, data modeling, and data mapping.
  • Preferred 4 years of technical expertise conducting enterprise business analysis, including problem/opportunity analysis, business case development, business architecture, feasibility studies, and comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Preferred 4 years of technical expertise creating system documentation, implementation standards, and training materials for users with varying technical knowledge.
  • Preferred Master''s degree (MBA) or certifications such as CCBA, CBAP, CSM, CSPO, PMI-PBA, PMP, ITIL, ICGB, or a related credential.
