Job Summary

We are Seeking an Electrical MEP Engineer with 5+ years of experience designing and delivering commercial and industrial MEP projects. Responsible for complete electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, emergency/standby power, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Requires an active P.E. license, BSEE, strong Revit, SKM Power Tools, and Autodesk Construction Cloud experience, and strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70. Provides technical leadership, design review, mentoring, and construction-phase support.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct Electrical Engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience working on commercial and/or industrial building construction MEP projects.
• Active P.E. license REQUIRED — reciprocal license acceptable at hire; Georgia P.E. must be obtained within 30 days.
• BSEE (bachelor’s in electrical engineering) REQUIRED.
• Strong Revit, SKM PowerTools, Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma) experience; AutoCAD alone is not sufficient.
• Demonstrated experience designing complete electrical systems for commercial/industrial new construction and renovation projects, including:
• Power distribution
• Interior and exterior lighting
• Emergency and standby power systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Low-voltage systems
• Strong working knowledge of NEC / NFPA 70
• Experience performing or supporting short-circuit, arc-flash, and coordination studies, load calculations, and construction documents/specifications.
• Ability to lead technical work, mentor engineers/designers, delegate work, build engineering processes/departments and conducting site visits.
