Are you an ambitious HR leader looking for the chance to influence business strategy, drive cultural transformation, and make a lasting impact across a growing organisation?

My client is seeking a commercially minded Group Head of People to lead and evolve their people agenda across a portfolio of successful and expanding food businesses.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll play a key role in ensuring their people strategy fuels business growth, engagement, and performance.

This is a rare opportunity to join a values-driven organisation where people genuinely matter and where HR has a true seat at the table.

As they continue to grow through innovation, investment, and acquisition, their mission is simple: to become an employer of choice across every business in their Group. They're proud that two of their businesses are already Great Place to Work Certified.

The Opportunity

As Group Head of People, you'll work closely with the CEO, Managing Directors, and senior leadership teams to create and implement a people strategy that supports ambitious growth plans.

This is a broad and influential role, combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across all aspects of HR.

About You

We're looking for an experienced, commercially aware HR leader who thrives in fast-paced and growing environments.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Experience within a high-growth SME environment, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence influencing and challenging senior leaders.
  • Experience leading change, transformation, and culture initiatives.
  • A genuine passion for employee engagement and developing great workplace cultures.
  • The drive to deliver measurable business impact through people strategies.

Why Join?
