Senior Manager Database and Business Analytics

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Manager Database and Business Analytics in Temple Terrace, FL.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee enterprise database operations, business analytics, reporting, and data governance initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between technical data management and business strategy, driving the development of scalable data solutions that enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead database administration, performance, security, backup, recovery, and capacity planning efforts
• Oversee data lake, data warehouse, reporting, and analytics initiatives
• Direct the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical models that provide actionable business insights
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify KPIs, reporting needs, and data-driven opportunities
• Manage data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance
• Lead database migrations, upgrades, and technology improvements
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and accelerate business outcomes
• Manage vendor relationships and cross-functional teams
• Present recommendations and findings to executive leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in database management, analytics, or data platforms
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and/or vendors
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, database architecture, and data modeling
• Experience with data lakes, ETL processes, APIs, reporting, and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Prior software development, coding, or solution architecture experience
• Experience leading analytics, dashboarding, and self-service reporting initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
