Job Description

Role:Data Center Operations & Support Engineer
Location: Norwalk, CT

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations, IT Operations, Hardware Support, Infrastructure Support, or System Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with rack and stack, server hardware installation, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware components, including RAM, storage, CPUs, and NICs.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM, ticketing, and asset management platforms.
  • Knowledge of network cabling standards and hardware diagnostic tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
  • Familiarity with system recovery and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment, including flexible shifts and weekends.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
