Job Description

Masterarbeit in der virtuellen Ausbildungssimulation | München, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring for a leading European systems house that develops, manufactures, and supports a diverse product portfolio, including advanced military vehicles and training solutions. The Role

  • Develop prototypes and concepts for avatars within virtual training environments, focusing on 3D skeleton tracking and gesture recognition.
  • Integrate motion capture data and track animations for realistic avatar representation.
  • Design and potentially develop virtual simulation assistance systems for combat vehicles, incorporating AI models.
  • Explore and conceptualize Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) strategies, including the interaction of autonomous ground vehicles and aerial drones with users in simulated environments.
  • Enhance trainee evaluation processes in virtual simulations by analyzing training data and exploring the integration of advanced sensors (e.g., eye-tracking, physiological data) and AI-driven summarization for improved learning outcomes.

What You'll Need

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ software development, ideally on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python is advantageous.
  • Prior experience with autonomous systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with 3D game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity is a plus.
  • Availability for 35 hours per week for a 6-month period.
