Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Developer with strong AWS and Python expertise to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud-based applications. Based in Atlanta, GA, this role will combine deep technical hands-on work with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of developers while partnering with business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

·         Lead Python and AWS application design, development, and architecture.

·         Build REST APIs, backend systems, microservices, and distributed applications.

·         Design scalable AWS solutions using Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora.

·         Manage CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and automation.

·         Conduct code reviews and establish development best practices.

·         Mentor developers and provide technical leadership.

·         Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams.

Must Have Skills

·         8+ years of software development experience.

·         2+ years in a Lead Developer/Technical Lead role.

·         Strong hands-on Python and AWS expertise.

·         Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

·         Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

·         Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.

·         Knowledge of Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD.

·         Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
