Job Description
Role: Business Analyst
Location: Erie, PA
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise in the logistics and supply chain industry, work closely with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable solutions.
Must have familiarity with logistics/TMS platforms
· Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across logistics operations, freight/transportation management, and supply chain functions
· Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and process workflows for development and operations teams
· Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical/development teams throughout the project lifecycle
· Analyze current business processes (freight booking, carrier management, shipment tracking, warehousing, etc.) and identify opportunities for improvement or automation
· Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) planning and execution, ensuring delivered solutions meet business requirements
· Prepare and maintain business process documentation, requirement traceability matrices, and reports
· Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented
· Support data analysis and reporting related to logistics KPIs (on-time performance, carrier compliance, shipment costs, etc.)
· Participate in stakeholder meetings, requirement workshops, and sprint/planning sessions

Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated domain expertise in the logistics/freight/supply chain industry (e.g., freight forwarding, transportation management systems (TMS), carrier management, warehousing, or shipment tracking)
· Strong understanding of logistics business processes and terminology
· Proven experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work directly with onshore stakeholders
· Experience working with cross-functional and cross-time zone teams (business, QA, development)
· Proficiency with business analysis and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel)
· Basic SQL skills for data validation and reporting
