The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Analyst looking to take the next step in their career, working with a leading international media group with a strong reputation for creativity, innovation and developing high-performing teams.

Reporting to the Director of Compensation & Benefits, you'll become a key member of a collaborative Reward team, taking ownership of the day-to-day delivery of compensation and benefits with the help of a small team.

Working closely with an experienced Reward leader, you'll gain exposure to a broad remit spanning compensation, benefits, analytics, process improvement and organisational change, while coaching and developing a small team. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who has built strong technical compensation expertise and is looking to broaden their leadership experience within a progressive, fast-paced organisation.

The Role

Supporting the Head of Compensation & Benefits, you'll play a key role in delivering reward programmes across the UK business, partnering closely with HR Business Partners, managers and external providers to ensure reward processes are delivered effectively and continuously improved.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of the annual salary review and bonus processes from planning through to delivery.
  • Providing salary benchmarking, pay analysis and reward modelling to support commercial decision-making.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and managers to provide expert guidance on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Managing relationships with benefits providers and supporting the ongoing development of the employee benefits offering.
  • Overseeing monthly payroll inputs and supporting reward-related reporting and compliance.
  • Producing reward analytics, headcount reporting and wider People insights.
  • Supporting reward advice relating to organisational change, including harmonisation and TUPE activity.
  • Driving continuous improvements across reward processes, reporting and ways of working.
  • Coaching and providing day-to-day support to a small team of Reward professionals.
  • Working closely with the Head of Compensation & Benefits on a variety of business-wide reward projects.

About You

We're looking for someone who has already built a solid Compensation & Benefits foundation and is ready to take on broader ownership and leadership responsibility.

You'll likely:

  • Have experience independently managing salary review and bonus processes.
  • Be confident with salary benchmarking, pay analysis and reward modelling.
  • Have strong analytical skills with advanced Excel experience.
  • Be comfortable partnering with stakeholders and translating reward data into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Have coached, mentored or managed junior colleagues and enjoy supporting their development.
  • Be naturally organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy identifying opportunities to improve processes and challenge existing ways of working.
  • Have exposure to employee benefits and a general understanding of payroll processes.

Why Join?

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Director of Compensation & Benefits, gaining exposure to a wide range of reward initiatives while continuing to develop your own leadership capability.

You'll join a collaborative and forward-thinking People team where you'll have genuine ownership, the opportunity to influence how reward is delivered across the business, and the chance to contribute to projects that make a real impact on the employee experience.
