They are seeking a meticulous Calibration Technician to join their dynamic team. The Role • Perform basic electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests and calibrations on manufactured products following established procedures. • Utilize various electrical and mechanical test equipment, including meters, pressure pumps, dead weight testers, shakers, and test chambers. • Adhere strictly to all safety precautions, particularly when handling liquid nitrogen or operating testing ovens. • Ensure all products meet established test and calibration specifications, escalating any deviations to leadership. • Maintain accurate and legible documentation of completed test steps. • Verify that test equipment calibration stickers are current before use and report any expired or near-expired equipment. What You'll Need • High school graduate or equivalent. • Foundational knowledge in pre-calibration testing, including transverse and time constant measurements. • Proficiency in observing safety precautions during equipment operation. • Basic computer skills for operating calibration software. • Understanding and application of proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures. • Experience with resonant frequency, bias voltage, capacitance, insulation testing, and acceleration sensitivity is preferred.
