Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect/Lead Data Engineer to serve as the primary interface between Information Technology and key business areas. You will identify business requirements, create project and process specifications, and ensure solutions align with enterprise IT strategy. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for supported business units and IT systems
• Analyze business operations to identify automation and process improvement opportunities
• Translate high-level business requirements into functional IT specifications
• Manage requirements, approvals, changes, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate communication between business units and IT from requirements to final implementation
• Design, develop, test, and maintain reports using SQL-driven tools and Business Objects
• Architect and manage large-scale data pipelines and data lakehouse environments
• Implement security, governance controls, and automated workflows
• Support CI/CD pipelines and version control practices
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships; communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
