HR Employee Relations Specialist

Treasure Island Resort & Casino seeks an HR Employee Relations Specialist to support a welcoming, guest-first culture. In this role, you'll handle employee relations cases, conduct fair and confidential investigations, counsel leaders on policy and performance issues, and ensure compliance with employment laws and tribal policies. You'll partner with managers to resolve conflicts, support corrective actions, and promote positive workplace practices. The role includes drafting documentation, maintaining accurate records, supporting training on policies and respect in the workplace, and contributing to HR projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employee relations questions and concerns
• Conduct fair, timely, and confidential workplace investigations
• Advise managers on performance management, discipline, and policy application
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and tribal policies
• Mediate workplace conflicts and recommend resolution strategies
• Draft and maintain accurate employee relations documentation and case files
• Support and deliver training on HR policies and respectful workplace practices
• Analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions
• Partner with HR and leadership on culture and engagement initiatives
• Support other HR projects and programs as needed
