SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – LOAN SERVICING / FINANCIAL SERVICES

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Project Manager is a strategic delivery leader responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving successful delivery of new client implementations, strategic business initiatives, portfolio migrations, and acquisition/integration projects within a U.S. financial services and loan servicing environment.

The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary project lead and central point of coordination across Technology, Operations, Compliance, Client Services, Product, Finance, Legal, and other functional teams. The role is responsible for bringing structure, accountability, communication, and execution discipline to complex, high-visibility initiatives.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in U.S. third-party loan servicing and/or credit administration environments, strong client implementation and integration experience, excellent senior stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of coordinating geographically distributed teams, including offshore delivery teams.

The candidate must be comfortable leading through influence rather than directly owning technical or operational functions and must have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL & DISTRIBUTED TEAM LEADERSHIP

• Lead and coordinate large, geographically distributed teams across U.S. and offshore locations.

• Demonstrate strong experience coordinating delivery teams across technology, operations, data, testing, implementation, and support functions.

• Establish clear ownership, accountability, milestones, and communication channels across distributed teams.

• Drive execution through influence without direct ownership of technical or operational functions.

• Remove obstacles, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and keep diverse teams aligned to shared project objectives.

• Facilitate working sessions with business, technology, operations, compliance, and distributed teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of project or program management experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. financial services servicing environments, preferably third-party loan servicing, consumer loan servicing, credit administration, payments, collections, or related operations.

• Proven experience leading new client implementations, onboarding programs, portfolio migrations, acquisition integrations, or complex system integrations.

• Strong experience with loan servicing and/or credit administration platforms and related business processes.

• Experience with one or more loan servicing, credit administration, or financial services platforms. Experience with comparable platforms and systems is also relevant.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating large and geographically distributed teams, including offshore delivery teams.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across Technology, Operations, Compliance, Client Services, Product, Finance, and other business functions.

• Strong stakeholder management experience with senior executives, business owners, clients, and external partners.

• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and drive accountability without directly owning technical or operational functions.

• Experience managing large, high-value, high-visibility projects with multiple concurrent workstreams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-ready status reporting, decision briefs, RAID logs, and project documentation.

• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
