Cloud Platform Engineer

Cargill is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable cloud platforms that power our global manufacturing operations. In this role, you will implement infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated monitoring to ensure reliable, high-performing environments. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to modernize applications, migrate workloads to the cloud, and embed best practices in security and resilience. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platform solutions supporting Cargill's global manufacturing operations
• Implement infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes
• Ensure platform reliability, security, monitoring, and performance across production and non-production environments
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and security teams to define cloud standards and best practices
• Support migration of on-premise workloads to cloud platforms and optimize existing cloud resources
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide incident response and root-cause analysis
• Document architectures, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
