SEN / SEND Tutor | Nuneaton, Warwickshire, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We're hiring for a dynamic organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We partner with schools and local authorities to provide impactful educational support, focusing on a trauma-informed and child-centered approach.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1 - KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on activities, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with a diverse range of learners, including those with MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Contribute to a mission of raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• An enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
