QA Engineer – ServiceNow Certificate Lifecycle Management (Fulltime - Cleveland, OH)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• ServiceNow Testing:
  • Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications/modules.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalog items, notifications, and integrations.
  • Experience validating ServiceNow-based Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes.
• Functional & Integration Testing:
  • Expertise in end-to-end functional testing and system integration testing.
  • Ability to validate workflows across ServiceNow, certificate authorities, and third-party tools.
  • Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices.
• API Testing:
  • Strong experience with REST/SOAP API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Validation of request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms, and error handling.
  • Experience testing ServiceNow integrations with certificate management platforms.
• Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM):
  • Understanding of certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, replacement, and expiration processes.
  • Ability to validate automated certificate management workflows within ServiceNow.
• PKI & SSL Certificate Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), SSL/TLS certificates, Certificate Authorities (CA), and certificate chains.
  • Understanding of security controls related to digital certificates and encryption.
• Defect Management & Test Management:
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in defect lifecycle management, root cause analysis, and test reporting.
• Security & Compliance Testing:
  • Ability to validate security controls, access permissions, audit trails, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting testing in regulated or security-focused environments.

• Analyze business and functional requirements for ServiceNow Certificate Lifecycle Management implementations. 
• Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT test cases. 
• Validate certificate lifecycle processes including issuance, renewal, revocation, replacement, and expiration monitoring. 
• Perform API testing using Postman to verify integrations between ServiceNow, PKI solutions, and external certificate authorities. 
• Validate security controls, role -based access, audit logging, and compliance requirements. 
• Create and maintain ServiceNow ATF scripts and support test automation initiatives. 
• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery. 
• Execute end-to-end testing of ServiceNow workflows, notifications, integrations, and reporting capabilities. 
• Identify, document, and track defects through JIRA/Azure DevOps and support defect resolution efforts. 
• Participate in test planning, test estimation, test execution, and status reporting activities. 
• Support release validation, production deployments, and post-implementation testing. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.
