Your new company Our client is a market leader in the manufacturing and installation of insulated, fire rated and architectural panel systems, with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand. Backed by a robust growth strategy and a reputation for innovation, they supply into some of the country's biggest names in commercial construction, cold storage, food processing, and architectural facade projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vertically integrated business that owns the full process from R&D and design through to manufacturing, supply and installation.
Your new role- Drive sales growth by proactively targeting new customers and managing a strong pipeline of opportunities in the field.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales revenue and margin targets.
- Support the Direct Sales Manager with sales forecasting, planning and reporting activities.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor insights and customer feedback to shape sales strategies.
- Manage quote conversion, pricing compliance and account agreements in line with company policy.
- Handover new customer accounts smoothly to internal support staff for ongoing management.
- Build professional, ethical, long term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Reactivate lapsed customers and identify new opportunities within the region.
- Proven track record in a field-based B2B sales role, ideally within building products, construction, manufacturing or a related technical industry.
- Strong hunter mindset with a high conversion rate on new business.
- Solid commercial acumen with an understanding of marketing and sales strategy.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to sales administration.
- Valid Australian driver's licence.
- Capacity to work full-time with occasional travel across the region.
