Apparel Design Coordinator - Contract, 20-30 hours a week, 6+ Month Contract, Hybrid in Irving!
We are seeking a highly organized Product Development & Apparel Design Coordinator to support the development and execution of apparel and merchandise programs from concept through production. This role will work closely with design, sourcing, merchandising, and manufacturing partners to ensure products are delivered on time, within specifications, and aligned with brand standards.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate product development timelines across design, sourcing, merchandising, and manufacturing teams.
  • Manage product samples, including requests, tracking, reviews, and approvals with vendors and factories.
  • Create and update product specifications, tech packs, development calendars, and tracking documents.
  • Design and develop product presentation materials, catalogs, and creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Partner with overseas factories and vendor partners to ensure products meet quality standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor key development milestones and proactively identify risks, delays, and potential production issues.
  • Assist with material, fabric, and trim sourcing activities.
  • Maintain organized product development documentation, files, and records.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and cross-functional teams to support new product launches and seasonal initiatives

Requirements
Apparel Design Coordinator - Contract, 20-30 hours a week, 6+ Month Contract, Hybrid in Irving!
Apparel Design Coordinator MUST have the following:
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, apparel design, merchandise development, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Hands-on experience with apparel, merchandise, or consumer product design.
  • Experience creating and maintaining product specifications and tech packs.
  • Proven experience working directly with merchandising vendors, manufacturers, and factory partners.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience coordinating with overseas suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to track projects from concept through production.
