Digital Marketing Analyst Intern
For this internship, we're prioritizing candidates on track to graduate in Spring 2028 (current juniors or rising seniors). As an intern at Pillar4 Media, you'll have the opportunity to get real-world, hands-on experience at one of the fastest growing digital media companies in the US.
In addition to learning new skills and working directly with subject matter experts in SEO, editorial, creative, paid media, revenue operations and analytics, you'll get to work on meaningful projects that make a difference for consumers seeking to improve their health and wellness. We
Analyze revenue, conversion, and traffic data to drive business decisions, optimize channels, and strengthen partnerships. Actively manage and optimize paid media accounts across platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads. Build tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions used daily by business leaders to monitor performance and uncover growth opportunities. Collaborate with teams across SEO, Product, Engineering, and Design to identify areas for improvement and drive measurable results.
Own key initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency, and digital marketing performance. The types of projects you will work on
As a Digital Marketing Analyst Intern, you will:
Dive into large datasets to identify trends, optimize performance, and make actionable recommendations across sites, channels, pages. Learn how to navigate and execute within digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics. Support keyword-level analysis, automated bidding strategies, creative testing, and campaign optimization to drive profitable growth.
Turn complex datasets into digestible analyses and visualizations using tools such as Excel, SQL, and PowerBI. Design and run experiments across our portfolio to improve our users experience & improve yield" to what our team does
Build, clean, and analyze data to support daily decision-making and cross-functional projects. Own tests and contribute to execution strategies, reporting back on results and insights to senior leaders. By the end of the summer you will
Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, analytics, and performance optimization.
Be well-versed in major advertising platforms (Google, Bing) and marketing analytics tools (Excel, SQL, PowerBI). Understand how to gather, clean, analyze, and report on large datasets to influence business strategy. Develop a comprehensive view of how Paid Media, SEO, Revenue Operations, Content, and UX work together to grow a digital business. Share insights and test results with senior leaders, receiving direct feedback on strategy and execution.
Internship Role Placements
For summer 2027, interns who apply, interview, and accept an offer for the Digital Marketing Analyst intern position will be placed on a functional team. Please review the team descriptions below to accurately complete your application:
Paid Media: As a Paid Media Intern, you'll get hands-on experience using Google Ads to manage Paid Search campaigns such as
Best Protein Powders and
Best Hair Growth Treatments
. You'll analyze the customer funnel and turn daily insights into action by optimizing ad copy and budgets to maximize contribution margin, with your work showing up in live Google searches. You'll also research health & wellness brands, industries, and emerging trends to uncover breakthrough opportunities for the business.
Product: As a Product Intern, you'll shape the on-site experience for millions of readers by designing and running A/B tests on page layouts, comparison features, and CTAs across brands like
Sleepopolis and
Garage Gym Reviews
. You'll dig into analytics to find where readers hesitate, turn those insights into live experiments, and work alongside engineering, design, SEO, and editorial to see results within days.
Revenue Operations: As a Revenue Operations Intern, you'll manage the P&L for one of our sites and gain exposure to all aspects of revenue creation (affiliate networks, panel and link creation, assembling deals, optimizations, data fidelity, and site performance). You'll analyze full funnel performance data across verticals such as sleep and nutrition translating that into recommendations that drive revenue growth, yield improvements on site, and efficiency across brands, pages and partnerships.
