Job Description

About Mistral

Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.

We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.

The Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Early Careers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of AI talent at Mistral. You will design, build, and run our global early careers strategy — spanning internships, graduate hiring, and campus recruitment — positioning Mistral as a premier destination for ambitious students and recent graduates in AI.

This is a rare opportunity to build early careers programs from the ground up at one of the world's leading AI companies. You will own the full lifecycle of the intern and graduate experience: from sourcing and selecting high-potential talent through international school and university partnerships, to designing inclusive, well-structured programs that develop and convert that talent into future Mistral employees. Working from our Paris HQ, you will partner closely with hiring managers across all our departments to ensure early careers pipelines keep pace with our rapid global growth.

📌 Location: this role is located at our Paris, France HQ, with hybrid onsite collaboration.

What You Will Do

  • Design and execute strategic early careers programs with clear goals for intern and graduate pipelines, aligned with Mistral's global growth plans and talent needs.

  • Partner with hiring managers and the People team to define role requirements, train and scale interview panels, and align on early careers priorities.

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for interns and early careers hires globally — from role definition and sourcing through offers and conversion decisions.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with top international schools and universities, creating sustainable, multi-year sourcing channels for high-potential candidates.

  • Build inclusive and equitable intern programs with structured learning objectives, meaningful core projects, and mentor/buddy pairing systems for every cohort

  • Drive global campus recruitment: represent Mistral at career fairs, host on-campus events, and develop targeted employer branding strategies for student markets.

  • Build scalable systems and best practices — workflows, documentation, and tools — to support rapid growth across geographies.

  • Embody our culture as an ambassador for Mistral, on campus and internally.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience: 5+ years in recruiting, preferably in tech, high-growth, or competitive environments.

  • Early careers depth: Exposure to global early careers, internships, or graduate recruitment

  • Partnership expertise: Expertise in international school and university partnership development and global campus recruitment.

  • Program building: Demonstrated experience building inclusive and equitable intern programs, with excellent project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Data-driven mindset: Skilled at analyzing metrics to solve problems and optimize recruitment processes.

  • Global perspective: Experience with international hiring and fluent English communication; French is a plus.

  • Stakeholder influence: Ability to advise and align senior leaders with credibility and diplomacy.

  • Hands-on execution: Capable of balancing strategy with operational excellence, staying organized and disciplined across concurrent programs and locations.

  • Tool proficiency: Familiarity with modern ATS (e.g. Ashby), LinkedIn search, scheduling tools, and AI-driven productivity tools is a plus.
