Job Description

JSG is seeking an experienced IT Software Developer III for our client in the Los Angeles  area. this person will support the development, administration, and production support of enterprise business applications. This role will focus heavily on Microsoft Access, VBA, Microsoft Power Platform, relational databases, and application development.The temp labor assignment is up to 6mos, and the work schedule is a hybrid schedule.  

Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday with alternating Fridays off (ONSITE MON & TUES).
 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Access, VBA, Power Apps, Power BI/Report Builder, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Support the modernization and conversion of legacy Access applications to Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Design and publish reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain relational database components, including views, stored procedures, functions, packages, and complex SQL queries.
  • Provide application troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
  • Develop websites and business solutions using modern web technologies.
  • Develop prototypes and recommend technology solutions to meet business needs.
  • Work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power BI/Report Builder, Power Automate
    • Microsoft Access and VBA
    • SQL and relational database programming
    • HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript
    • ASP.NET, Umbraco, AWS
    • Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
    • Nintex Forms/Workflow/API
    • Webflow, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop
    • Oracle databases
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, database objects, stored procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, queries, and data integrity.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, web development, reporting tools, and data warehouse concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with .NET, C# or VB.NET, Microsoft Foundry/Copilot, AI-driven development, and GitHub Copilot is highly desirable.

6 month contract $53.41-57.99/hr.
