Job Overview
The Machine Data Insights team within Machine Analytics is seeking a Data Scientist 3 to support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives across product development, aftermarket analytics, demand forecasting, and strategic business areas.
The role will focus heavily on developing AI Agents using Dataiku and Snowflake Cortex, leveraging structured enterprise data to identify supply-chain disruptions and automate corrective workflows. The successful candidate will also help establish reusable agent architecture, orchestration, security, evaluation, integration, and operationalization practices while sharing knowledge with the existing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI Agents using Dataiku and Snowflake Cortex.
- Use Dataiku recipes and Python to build workflow automation and programming logic.
- Design and implement multi-agent architectures and orchestration patterns, including agent collaboration, planning, delegation, and workflow coordination.
- Develop reusable agent frameworks and reference architectures.
- Implement security, access control, governance, RBAC, authorization models, personas, and guardrails.
- Integrate AI agents with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, email, PDFs, APIs, and enterprise data sources.
- Design event-driven and batch-processing workflows.
- Develop agent evaluation, testing, observability, and monitoring processes.
- Evaluate groundedness, relevance, hallucination risk, task success, and overall agent performance.
- Implement automated regression testing and performance monitoring.
- Apply prompt engineering and reusable agent design patterns.
- Develop human-in-the-loop workflows, approval processes, escalation paths, and feedback mechanisms.
- Build and support Dataiku WebApps and production-ready user experiences.
- Support deployment automation, operationalization, scalability, monitoring, and governance.
- Optimize LLM selection, latency, token consumption, performance, and operational costs.
- Apply advanced statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand objectives, develop solutions, test outputs, and refine implementations.
- Share knowledge and help upskill team members on emerging Dataiku Agentic AI technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, AI, or a closely related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong experience building AI Agents in Dataiku and Snowflake Cortex — critical requirement.
- Strong experience with Dataiku recipes and Python for workflow automation.
- Experience with one or more agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or CrewAI.
- Strong understanding of multi-agent architecture and orchestration.
- Experience with enterprise data access, API integrations, and workflow automation.
- Experience with AI agent security, governance, access control, and guardrails.
- Experience with agent evaluation, testing, observability, and performance monitoring.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with advanced statistical and analytical methods such as regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, and statistical process control.
- Practical knowledge of machine learning techniques such as clustering, logistic regression, CART, Random Forest, SVM, or neural networks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, aerospace, engines, transmissions, construction, mining, or other manufacturing environments.
- Experience with MCP in multi-agent systems and agent-to-agent communication.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Dataiku WebApps and enterprise application development.
- Knowledge of human-in-the-loop AI workflows and enterprise AI governance.
- Demonstrated continuous learning and ability to evaluate and apply emerging AI technologies.
