Job Description
Job Title :Database lead with Java API’s Exp
Location : Denver CO(Onsite from Day 1) - look for locals
Exp : 12+ Years of Exp required.
Job Description:
· 8+ years of experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL (RDS) or equivalent relational cloud database platforms, including database design, development, performance tuning to millisecond response, high availability, and replication for OLTP DB application.
· 4+ years of hands-on experience in building enterprise analytics platforms using Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse technologies.
· Strong experience in cloud migration, database modernization, and distributed database architectures.
· Experience building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Python, Talend, AWS EMR, or similar technologies.
· Strong SQL, data modeling, database optimization, and analytical skills.
· Experience with observability and operational tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
· Strong understanding of production support, incident management, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
· Proven leadership experience in mentoring teams, driving technical strategy, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong experience with API development, integration, and troubleshooting.
· Hands-on experience with Talend, including job design, pipeline development, orchestration, and production support.
· Understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, and lineage.
· Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns.
· Ability to lead technical discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
· Strong documentation skills, including creating and maintaining data catalog artifacts, technical specifications, and process documentation.
Preferred: AWS and Snowflake certifications; experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
