Forward Deployed Strategist

About the Role

Lead strategic enterprise deployments for an AI automation company, connecting customer goals, commercial strategy, and delivery. You will guide complex implementations from pilot through production, helping organizations adopt automation across critical business processes.

What You'll Do

• Own commercial relationships with enterprise customers, including scoping, negotiating, and closing complex pilots and engagements.

• Understand customer processes, align stakeholders across operational and executive teams, and define measurable success criteria.

• Lead cross-functional delivery teams, including deployment and engineering partners, through pilots and production launches.

• Manage change, resolve blockers, and maintain executive alignment in complex customer environments.

• Identify expansion opportunities and support account growth from initial deployment to broader adoption.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, enterprise deployment, enterprise sales, go-to-market, business operations, or related customer-facing work.

• Experience owning enterprise client relationships and commercial targets, such as pilot conversion, expansion, or renewals.

• A record of leading end-to-end deployments, delivering measurable customer outcomes, and scaling successful pilots into production.

• Strong stakeholder management, project delivery, negotiation, and change management skills, including experience working across operational and executive teams.

• Technical fluency to understand AI-enabled software and engage with engineers about implementation without needing to be an engineer.

• Background in enterprise software, AI automation, consulting, or similar deployment-focused environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $160,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, or New York City, New York. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to one of these locations.
