As an AI Project Manager, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of complex artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data initiatives from inception through to production deployment. Collaborating directly with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and executive leadership, you will manage cross-functional workstreams, resolve technical dependencies, and ensure milestones are met within a rapidly evolving delivery landscape.
Requirements

• 6+ years of technical project or program management experience delivering complex technology initiatives.
• Proven background managing projects involving AI, Generative AI, machine learning, data engineering, or advanced analytics.
• Solid understanding of the AI delivery lifecycle, including data dependencies, model training, integrations, governance, testing, and production readiness.
• Demonstrated mastery of Agile methodologies and modern delivery management tools.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs into clear decision points.
• Track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and creating clarity within ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Must be based in the New York City metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, execution, and delivery of high-priority AI and machine learning initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Align engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks, technical risks, and architectural dependencies.
• Establish transparent program roadmaps, sprint schedules, milestones, and governance frameworks to maintain steady delivery momentum.
• Facilitate regular Agile ceremonies, team syncs, and planning sessions to track velocity and scope adherence.
• Deliver executive-level status reports, risk assessments, and milestone updates to program leadership.
• Coordinate deployment protocols, compliance reviews, and operational handoffs to ensure seamless production readiness.

This contract engagement is slated through December 31, 2026, offering a pay rate of up to $45.00/hour. The role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring three days on-site per week in New York City.
