Job Description

Senior Full Stack Developer - 12 Month Initial Contract with 5 Vacancies

We are seeking experienced Senior Full Stack Developers to join a modern cloud development team working across front-end, back-end, integration and cloud infrastructure.

There are five positions available on an initial 12-month contract, offering the opportunity to work as part of a broader technical team delivering modern, cloud-native applications.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting cloud-native applications, working across the full technology stack and closely with technical leads, architects and delivery teams.

  • Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Develop and support cloud-native backend services and microservices.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using OpenAPI and contract-first development.
  • Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using API and event-driven patterns.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.
  • Design and implement scalable relational and NoSQL data solutions.
  • Build secure, resilient and maintainable AWS-based solutions.
  • Implement validation, exception handling, audit logging, monitoring and observability.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security and quality assurance.
  • Participate in solution design, code reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and delivery stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience Front End
  • Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience with modern CSS and component libraries.
  • Experience building complex business workflows within role-based user interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and modern UI development.
Backend & APIs
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs in AWS environments.
  • Experience with OpenAPI and contract-first development.
  • Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC and JWT-based authentication.
  • Commercial experience developing backend services using Python.
AWS

Strong hands-on experience with a range of AWS services, including:

  • AWS Lambda
  • Amazon API Gateway
