About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, integrating and maintaining software solutions that support a wide range of business initiatives. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you'll translate requirements into practical, secure and scalable solutions while helping ensure reliable data exchange across multiple systems.

You'll work with contemporary technologies including Azure services, Node.js, TypeScript and APIs, contributing to both new solution delivery and the continuous improvement of existing platforms and integrations.

What You'll Be Doing Design and Development

• Design and develop APIs, integrations and software solutions that deliver business value
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable and secure code
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
• Ensure security, performance and reliability are built into all solutions from the outset

Solution Design

• Translate business and technical requirements into effective solution designs
• Create clear technical documentation and acceptance criteria
• Ensure solutions align with architecture, security and operational requirements
• Support monitoring, operational readiness and successful handover of new solutions

Testing and Release

• Develop and execute testing approaches to ensure quality outcomes
• Support CI/CD practices and release management activities
• Deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions that minimise business disruption

Support and Continuous Improvement

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Work collaboratively with vendors, stakeholders and technology teams
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and engineering practices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation

About You

You'll bring:

• Experience designing, developing and supporting APIs and integration solutions
• Understanding of secure software development and cloud-based solution design
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A passion for continuous improvement and delivering quality solutions

Ideally, you'll also have:

• A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, integration patterns and secure data exchange practices
• Exposure to Microsoft development technologies and cloud services
